WAM Theatre has announced the ensemble of performers and designers who are collaborating to create the site-specific performance fragments of Outside. This special, one-time-only performance, conceived and directed by new Artistic Director Genée Coreno, is a celebration of WAM's 15th Anniversary.

Building upon the success of the first free BSO Neighborhood Concert, held at Dorchester's Jeremiah E. Burke High School last November, the Boston Symphony Orchestra will perform the 2022–23 season's second free concert at UMass Lowell's Durgin Concert Hall (inside Durgin Hall), 35 Wilder Street, Lowell, on Tuesday, February 28, at 8 p.m. These performances broaden the BSO's mission to reach and connect with new audiences in neighborhoods within and beyond Boston.

WAM Theatre has announced the appointment of two new board members. Erica Barreto and Toni Buckley join Board President Wendy Healey, Vice President Arwen Lowbridge, Carolyn Butler, Margaret Fluhr, Ellen Ring, Diane Scott, and WAM Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven, as the Berkshire-based company starts its second decade.

Jacob's Pillow announces public events held January through May in its Winter/Spring season, featuring co-presentations with local cultural partners; Pillow Parties; workshops and classes; Pillow Pop-Ups; and more. Events take place January through May on the Pillow's 220-acre campus in Becket, MA and across Berkshire County. As the Pillow continues to advance its five year strategic plan, Vision '22, the organization increasingly activates its local and national presence by expanding programming and extending resources beyond its acclaimed summer dance festival.

One month after the close of its 86th season, Jacob's Pillow announces record-breaking ticket sales for its acclaimed summer dance festival. The organization reports over $2.5 million in ticket sales, an increase of 13% when compared with 2017; over 40,000 tickets were sold, an increase of 5%, when compared with last year. The season boasts 10,000 unique ticket buyers, an increase of 8% and the largest number since the organization began tracking this particular indicator in 2005.

The South Street Seaport Museum announces a panel discussion that will explore the unique challenges in public engagement faced by cultural institutions that are also historic sites.This panel discussion is presented as part of Archtober 2018 at the Seaport Museum. The event will be held onThursday, October 11, 6:30pm in the Seaport Museum's Melville Gallery at 213 Water Street, New York, NY 10038.
