We believe the successful theatre student is well rounded. At Marquette, you can design and build stage sets, create costumes and bring characters to life through movement, voice and music. Choose from a wide selection of courses in acting and directing for stage and camera, as well as theatre history, scenery, lighting, dance, costume design and stage/production/arts management. Study the breadth of theatrical fields and — through Marquette’s broad liberal arts curriculum — learn to connect the performing arts to other disciplines. Marquette University is accredited by NAST (National Association of Schools of Theatre). This means we are among a select group of programs nation-wide to have been recognized as meeting and maintaining certain standards of excellence in teaching theatre. We are committed to helping you develop professionally while giving you the best theatre education that we can.
