Students in Manhattanville College’s Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theatre degree program receive top instruction in all aspects of theatre arts under the mentorship of experienced professionals in the industry. Through performance opportunities and a range of course topics, students majoring in theatre master a variety of techniques and explore the possibilities of the genre, informed by research, practical general education, and study of performance history. Whether you’re interested in theatre careers focused on acting performance, directing, management, or beyond, Manhattanville’s B.A. in Theatre degree program is experience-driven and flexible enough to meet your goals.
Manhattanville College’s Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Dance degree offers a student centered education for the dancer who wants to perform and develop their technique. Taught by professional choreographers, dancers, dance therapists, and experienced instructors, the dance curriculum encompasses practical skills in performance as well as general studies. Students in the dance program will not only develop into mature artists, but into critical, aware citizens ready to flourish in their careers. You will have the opportunity to perform in faculty, guest artist, and student work throughout the Division of Fine and Performing Arts season, as well as pursue outside dance experience. Manhattanville’s dance major program is designed to reflect each dancer’s unique interests and career goals while allowing students to apply what they learn in the classroom on stage and in the studio. If you want to join a program allowing you to dance with NYC’s finest choreographers and teachers, Manhattanville’s B.A. in Dance degree program is for you.

A new play, 'Dancing for Brigid,' will premiere in Westchester featuring stage/film/TV actress Sachi Parker, daughter of Oscar winner Shirley MacLaine, and Carey Fox, a retired Emmy Award winning MSNBC producer. Performances run Thursday through Saturday, June 8-10 at 7:30 pm in the Little Theatre at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
