Bachelor of Arts in Dance


LMU Dance is committed to the inquiry and practice of dance as a creative, expressive art form that is integral to life. We believe that the study of dance engages the student as a whole person – body, mind, and spirit. Guided by collaborative partnerships with teachers and scholars, opportunities to engage prominent dance artists, as well as participation with the diverse cultural and dance communities of Los Angeles and beyond, we prepare our students for a variety of career paths in dance and related areas of professional engagement.

Two of Sacramento’s most visible theatre professionals have come back to the local theatre community after a brief absence. Michael Laun and Natasha Hause were integral to the staging of numerous successful pieces at the former Sacramento Theatre Company.
