GCT will be producing the Miss Gettysburg Scholarship Competition 7pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024 which is a direct prelim to the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition and part of the Miss America system.

Artist and activist Leyla McCalla has released the second in a series of singles which collectively serve as a meditation on the struggle for freedom in our society. McCalla says she felt compulsively compelled to record this new track–a solo cover of Kendrick Lamar’s “Crown”-- due to the power of its recurring refrain “you can’t please everybody.”

New Dramatists has announced that Christie Brown has been named the new Executive Director. She will join veteran Artistic Director Emily Morse to lead the organization. Brown's cumulative service to New Dramatists spans 15 years in various leadership roles.

James Merle Thomas has been appointed as The Helen Frankenthaler Foundation's inaugural Deputy Director. A scholar, curator, and arts administrator, Thomas brings more than 15 years of experience working across the visual arts and academia.
