Minor in Dance


Goucher College offers a rigorous and comprehensive B.A. major as well as a minor in dance. Students complete core courses and have opportunity to select courses that support their personal interests and goals as they build their own path of study. Our major provides studio, performance, real world, and academic experiences to help students understand the art form and develop their own artistic voices. Goucher offers studio curricula in classical ballet and modern dance, augmented by courses in jazz and African dance. Formal and informal studio performances give students opportunities to choreograph and perform throughout the year.
