William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors takes over Shakespeare & Company's outdoor mainstage this summer, directed by Kate Kohler Amory July 13 through August 18 at the Arthur S. Waldstein Amphitheatre.

Theatre Communications Group reveals the recipients of the Plays for the People: In the Stacks initiative, an effort to support and promote new theatrical works.

The pair will be supported by a five-member, all-female band featuring Megan Palmer (musical director, piano), Miss Tess (bass), Heather Thomas (drums), Thayer Sarrano (acoustic guitar, keyboards), and Anne McCue (electric guitar, lap steel). Produced by industry vet Eli Wolf (Willie Nelson, Norah Jones, Al Green).

Frostburg State University's Department of Music will present a livestreamed non-degree recital by student sopranos Hannah Polk and Ryann Cooper on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. They will be accompanied by pianist Dr. Joseph Yungen, baritone Gregory Scott Stuart and student tenor Casey Swartz. The ETF National Board of Trustees is composed of prominent leaders across a diverse range of industries, including entertainment, finance, hospitality, law, education, and nonprofit theatre, all with a common passion for theatre education. ETF also enjoys the support of an Honorary Board and an Advisory Board.

Molloy College and its Writer-in-Residence, Barbara Novack, will be hosting a poetry event featuring Gerry LaFemina on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. in the Reception Room, Kellenberg Hall, on Molloy College's Rockville Centre campus.
