In theater, having experience is vital for both graduate schools or jobs. That's why at Fort Lewis College, you don't just study theatre -- you act, direct, write, design, create, and perform. And because our expert and professional faculty's focus is on teaching, they work closely with their students, taking pride in keeping their office doors open and being involved in their students' progress, assuring you an individualized learning experience. And our emphasis is on experience. The Theatre Department at Fort Lewis College pursues an exciting and innovative curriculum stressing collaborative hands-on skill-building, experiential learning, innovative and broad production programming, professional guest artist engagements, and national and international internship opportunities.
