Blessed Unrest, an award-winning physical theatre company, enters its 23rd season with a world premiere of MISCONCEPTIONS, a new play by the Emmy-nominated playwright Steve Wangh (The Laramie Project), directed by Jessica Burr.

The award-winning theatre company Blessed Unrest is proud to present the world premiere of Chasing the Tides, or Exposure, a devised solo show exploring how women deal with secrets and expectations that are imposed on them.

On Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m., Teatro Paraguas will present a live Zoom performance of Volver Volver Volver, a play by New Mexico playwright Leonard Madrid.  A young man who led a fast and reckless life is called back from the dead by an unknown bruja in Portales, and finds the inner peace which eluded him in life.

Awesome Theatre, (Mercy Killing, Let's Kill Jessica, TERROR-RAMA Series) announces the WORLD PREMIERE of CLICKBAIT, a horror-satire by Tonya Narvaez and Directed by Claire Rice.

Teatro Paraguas presents the 6th Annual El Día de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) community celebration with an exciting line-up of live music, staged cuentos (folk-tales), a medley of songs, local dancers, poetry, and a short original comedy.

Baruch Performing Arts Center, along with New York-based theater company Blessed Unrest and Teatri ODA of Kosovo, will co-present the World Premiere of Refuge from April 25 - May 11 @ 7:30, with a variable weekly schedule and a 5pm performance Sun May 5 (Opening Night April 27) at Baruch Performing Arts Center, 55 Lexington Avenue (25 Street between Third and Lexington Avenues), NYC.

THIS IS MODERN ART, the acclaimed and controversial 2014 play by Idris Goodwin and Kevin Coval, based on the 2010 "bombing" of the Art Institute of Chicago by an underground graffiti crew, is making its New York debut. The production by Blessed Unrest is directed by Jessica Burr and performing as part of the inaugural season of Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop (79 East 4th Street between Bowery & 2nd Ave., New York, NY 10003.)
