Led by our faculty-artists who take individualized approaches to develop your artistry, you will have numerous occasions to perform alongside your classmates in the historic Angelico Concert Hall as well as venues and festivals in San Francisco. With a foundation in a strong liberal arts curriculum, you will receive in-depth study in performance and composition, as well as an understanding and appreciation of the intellectual, social, and spiritual values of performing arts. The Department presents many concerts and performances which are open to the public, providing the vital intersections between Bay Area communities and the academic life at Dominican University of California. Community members are invited to attend ticketed concerts for the Guest Concert Series and our Dance performances, participate in the Dominican Chorale, the Suzuki School of Music and the Dominican Chamber Music Summer Camp.

Marin Shakespeare Company Announces 2018 Season

Marin Shakespeare Company, Marin County's only professional Shakespeare theatre, announces its 2018 outdoor summer season - a season exploring complex and compelling men and women. Presented under the summer stars, Marin Shakespeare's 29th season includes "Hamlet," "Shakespeare's Will," a spirited and sensual imagining of the life of Anne Hathaway by Canadian playwright Vern Thiessen, and "Pericles." The 2018 season is in partial repertory, with performances beginning in May and ending early August. There will be some Thursday evening performances this year. The theatre plans to make major renovations to the Forest Meadows Amphitheatre following the 2018 summer season.
