Master of Science in Music and Technology


The School of Music offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in instrumental performance, keyboard performance , vocal performance, and composition. The BFA is a professional degree in which 80% of the curriculum is in music. The School of Music also offers a Bachelor of Science in Music & Technology. Undergraduate students can apply for the Music Education Certification program beginning in the sophomore year. This program extends a student’s time at Carnegie Mellon by one semester for student teaching.
