For more than ten weeks this summer, from May until August, Brevard Music Center (BMC) will bring 40,000 music lovers to its scenic campus in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Audiences of all ages will delight in a dazzling array of concerts and events, experience the inaugural season of BMC's new Parker Concert Hall, be immersed in Beethoven and a 250th birthday celebration, and support the 500 gifted young musicians who will redefine the future of classical music alongside an acclaimed roster of guest artists and faculty. Brevard Music Center Presents 2019 Aaron Copland Festival

Brevard Music Center (BMC) will present a special 2-week "Festival Within a Festival" celebrating the works of beloved American composer Aaron Copland as part of its 2019 Summer Music Festival. Running from July 8 - July 21, BMC's multifaceted series of concerts, film, lectures and multi-media experiences will provide a three-dimensional look at the career of a composer whose work influenced much of America's 20th century musical legacy. Brevard Music Center Presents Season-Long Leonard Bernstein Festival

Over the course of its 82nd season, the Brevard Music Center (BMC) will host a myriad of performances and special events saluting the centennial of celebrated American composer Leonard Bernstein. BMC's third "Festival Within a Festival" pays tribute to one of the most iconic composers of the 21st century whose in-depth creative output included music for Broadway, orchestra, ballet, chamber, and opera. Brevard Music Center's Leonard Bernstein Festival is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
