Associate of Music in Music Studies, Associate of Music in Music Education Associate of Music in Music Performance

The Music and Art Department offers 200 different classes in music performance, music history and theory, studio art, and art history. These classes provide students with a range of opportunities to explore different visual media and musical outlets.
BMCC offers an Associate Degree in Music with specializations in Music Studies, Music Education* or Music Performance. The Music Program provides a curriculum that includes the basics of musical performance, music theory, keyboard skills, ear training and sight singing.
Entrance into the Music Education and Music Performance tracks require an audition.
The Music Department provides practice rooms and music tutoring. There are numerous ensembles students can audition to join.
