Minor in Theatre


Welcome to the Department of Theatre at Ashland University. The Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre offers a well-rounded education in theatre, allowing you the freedom to explore your options before choosing an area of specialization. An 18-credit minor in Theatre is also available. With opportunities to apply classroom learning to our production schedule, you will broaden your knowledge and refine your skills in your field of concentration.

Ken Martin will join the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, August 1, 2022, as the new Clarence Brown Theatre artistic director and head of the Department of Theatre in the College of Arts and Sciences. Calvin MacLean, former artistic director and head, retired in August 2021.
