DEGREES OFFERED
|
Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting
|
The Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts is a vital and vibrant major for those who are dedicated to theater and seeking preparation for a wide range of career options in the field. This degree combines performance training (all the same courses as B.F.A. students) with courses in design, playwriting, stage management, directing, dramaturgy or theater for young audiences.
As a Theater Arts major, you will take an interdisciplinary approach to the art form: encountering theater as part of a broader exposure to the study of culture and society—in keeping with the philosophy of a liberal arts education.
Bachelor of Arts degree candidates are full participants in the activities of the program, meaning you are eligible to enroll in all the same courses and to audition for the same Arcadia Theater productions as BFA candidates.
