DEGREES OFFERED

Bachelor of Arts in Dance

Just as the art of dance is so much more than body movement—involving expression of the heart, soul, mind and spirit—the dance program at Alma is more than only technique, rehearsal, and performance. We also emphasize self-knowledge, artistry, creativity, ensemble work, and interdisciplinary connections to other areas of study. Alma College offers a range of dance aesthetics in a liberal arts setting to provide a well-rounded education that prepares you for life both on and off the stage. If you love to dance but don’t plan to major in it, we have room for you in our program, too! Dance courses are open to all Alma College students, regardless of their academic major. Technique classes benefit beginners and advanced students.

Faculty Info:

Ben Munisteri (Associate Professor), Simone Boos, Lynn Bowman, Rosely Conz (Assistant Professor), Kelsey Dennis, Allison Murad (Instructor of Dance)
