At Alabama State University, you can make it happen. Led by working Hollywood actor Dr. Tommie Stewart, who starred in the big screen movie “A Time to Kill” and the popular TV show “In the Heat of the Night,” ASU’s theatre program is one of the most renowned and comprehensive theatre programs in the country. Choose your creative outlet with a degree concentration in acting and directing, costume and set design, theatre management or dance. Get the experience you need to get ahead as a member of the Elite Modeling Company, Eclectic Dance Company or Touring Company. And get a real feel for the industry in one of the department’s main stage shows, One Act Play Festival, dance concert or fashion show.
