Today Disney’s THE LION KING presented a community garden at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival to commemorate 25 years of the iconic, award-winning West End musical. Designed by leading garden designer Juliet Sargeant, the garden received three awards at the festival; Best Show Garden, the RHS Environmental Innovation Award and a Silver Gilt Medal*. The Lion King celebrated 20 years in London's West End on Saturday, October 19. Legendary South African composer Lebo M treated the audience to an incredible extra performance featuring the Drakensberg Boys Choir.

Janique Charles has joined the cast of Disney's The Lion King in the West End as Nala! Originally from Trinidad and Tobego, this is Janique's West End debut in a principal role. To celebrate their newest Nala, Disney had a photoshoot, with clothes from African brand mille collines, with Janique resulting in these gorgeous pictures, seen below!

On Tuesday 13th September the London Company of the award-winning stage musical The Lion King played its 5000th performance at the Lyceum Theatre in London's West End. Now in its 12th record-breaking year, The Lion King has been seen by almost 10 million people in the UK and 60 million people worldwide, making it one of the most successful productions in theatre history.
