The David Byrne/Fatboy Slim musical hit 'Here Lies Love' will be leaving the Public Theater on January 4th to spread the love across the globe in many new productions, but the celebs are still coming to join in the Disco. Last night, SPIKE LEE was spotted enjoying the show in the house and loved it so much that he joined the cast backstage after the show for a group photo. Check it out below!

Brooke Shields attended HERE LIES LOVE at the Pubilc Theater last night, where she went down to the dressing rooms after the show to visit the cast. Brooke related stories of when she, as a young girl of 16, was invited to open the Philippines Film Festival and spent a weekend with Imelda Marcos in Manila. The disco musical hit is running through January 4th before embarking on a world tour and the current stars are Jaygee Macapugay as Imelda, Jose Llana as Ferdinand Marcos and Conrad Ricamora as Ninoy Aquino.

Here Lies Love, the David Byrne/Fatboy Slim musical at the Public Theatre played host to a very special guest over the weekend. Travelling from Washington, DC, Jose L. Cuisia, Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. and his wife, Maria Victoria caught the hit show about the life and times of Imelda Marcos and raved about it to the cast backstage after the performance.

Summer Friday performances at 'Here Lies Love' at the Public Theatre always brings out some special VIP's and last week was no exception. Catching the hit David Byrne/Fatboy Slim musical were Joel Grey, Dule Hill, Rachel York and MSNBC's Thomas Roberts all getting together with the cast for some post show celebrating. The Public's HERE LIES LOVE kicked off its 'Summer Friday' performances on Friday. On the Friday, July 11th kickoff, guests in attendance included Alan Rickman, Tommy Tune, Anika Larsen, After Midnight's Karine Plantadit, Andrew Andrew and Sirius XM's Julie James. Joan Rivers was seen dancing along with cast of the David Byrne/Fatboy Slim hit musical HERE LIES LOVE, directed by Alex Timbers at the Public Theatre. Joan opted not for the seated balcony but actually brought flats and joined the audience on the disco floor where the show takes place. She loved the show so much that she raved about it two days later on Fox 5's 'Good Day New York' as well as at her new book signing at Barnes & Noble on Union Square, telling fans, 'If you see one show this year, you must see HERE LIES LOVE.
