Stewart Blackwood is a composer, sound designer, and creative coder. He is an Assistant Professor of Composition and Sound Design at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, and a working freelance artist. Stewart's work merges classical composition, music technology, audio spatialization, and custom coding to craft bespoke sound scores and immersive experiences. Before joining academia, he worked as an audio experience engineer for the spatial audio startup Boomcloud360 in Encinitas, California.
