Louise Gund is an environmental activist. She also holds an MA in Holistic Psychology and has counseled children. After receiving a BFA from the School for Visual Arts in New York City, Louise took public relations photographs of modern dance groups and Off-Broadway productions in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was during this time that she first learned of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Louise began attending OSF productions in1984.
