Mark William Blowers was born and raised in Toledo, OH. His loving parents William and Teresa nurtured and encouraged a love of music, theatre, and dance from a very early age (Mark’s first solo performance was “Jesus Loves Me” at age five!) Having done a few shows in grade school, Mark chose to attend St. Francis de Sales High School, which has a reputation for producing excellent musicals. He landed his first leading role in a theatre production at the age of 5 and directed his first play by the age of 15. When Maarten was 14, he was accepted to the exclusive De Kunsthumaniora performing arts school in Antwerp, Belgium and graduated with honors at the age of 18.
