Eric Backus is a composer and sound designer based in Chicago and Southern California. His original music and sound designs for theatre have been heard around the country, Off-Broadway, and in many Chicago theatres including Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf, Writers, Northlight, Paramount, and numerous others. His work has also been featured in film, video, podcasts, and other streaming media.
