The Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) will present an expanded lineup for its 26-27 season, featuring larger-scale productions and a diverse array of artists in Ottawa.

As they pass the time with scraps of conversation, moments of tenderness and flashes of dark humour, their story becomes a moving reflection on what it means to keep going in a world that rarely offers answers.

NATURAL SELECTION is an excessive existential exploration of the ways women encounter their own subjectification.  Playwright Stacy Adelman, gets the point across – in the first 20 minutes.

Watching AND THE GIRLS IN THEIR SUNDAY DRESSES at the Baxter, I was reminded in many ways of WAITING FOR GODOT. However, this production - written by the incredible Zakes Mda - is so much more, in my opinion.

Today’s subject Bill Irwin is possibly one of the most versatile and flexible performers still working in the performing arts today. He can currently be seen at Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) in his solo show On Beckett. The show runs through March 15th at STC’s Klein Theatre space.

Tony Award-winning actor and master clown Bill Irwin (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Sesame Street) has spent a lifetime captivated by Samuel Beckett. With little more than a funny hat and a podium, Irwin mines the comedy and tragedy of Beckett’s work—including Waiting for Godot, Texts for Nothing, and more—in a nonstop display of jovial verbal and physical comedy that has become Irwin’s signature.

New musical A Mirrored Monet will receive its London premiere at Charing Cross Theatre where it will run from 14 March 2026 until 9 May 2026 with press night on 24 March 2026.
