Theatre Under the Stars announced its 2026 season featuring SISTER ACT and DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID at Stanley Park's Malkin Bowl, running July 3–August 22, 2026, with single tickets available May 19.

Recently, Michael’s production of the new play, Incitation of the Dance, opened at Theatre West. Its title Inspired by Gene Kelly's 1956 film; Invitation to the Dance, this dark comedy explores the complexities of older gay relationships—described by one critic as a 'gay gray play.' The show still takes place in the 1940’s Chicago music/nightclub scene, but it has been opened up to explore potent possibilities that are realized in this production.

Kentucky Shakespeare, the Official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth, announced the 66th annual free Kentucky Shakespeare Festival May 27-August 9, 2026, at the C. Douglas Ramey Amphitheater in Old Louisville’s Central Park.

After a sold-out run, the solo show EDWARD, written and performed by Ed Schmidt, has added one last performance in New York. The additional show is scheduled for March 6 at The Strand, Manhattan.
