Jena Pandya and Ashley Day will play lovers Simran and Rog (Roger) in Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical, the new musical comedy based on one of the biggest blockbuster films in the history of Indian cinema, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ).

Casting Society honored excellence in casting across feature film, television (scripted and unscripted), commercials and theater at the 40th Annual Artios Awards. Several theatrical productions including Oh, Mary! and The Outsiders took home honors.

The Great Gatsby on Broadway will welcome Linedy Genao (Bad Cinderella, On Your Feet!)  as Myrtle Wilson, and original cast member Austin Colby (Jersey Boys), who takes over the role of Tom Buchanan.

Theatre Washington has announced nominees for the 41st Helen Hayes Awards, which will be presented on Monday, May 19 at an event at The Anthem. The nominations are for productions in the Washington, DC, region in the 2024 calendar year.

A private industry reading will be presented a newly revised version of the musical Big Fish. The reading will star two-time Tony Award nominee Patrick Wilson in the lead role of Edward Bloom.

Mirvish has announced its 2025/26 Main Subscription Season, which is made up of seven productions, all musicals.   Four are Canadian premieres, two are Toronto premieres and one is a brand-new sit-down Canadian production of an international hit.
