Award-winning Redtwist Theatre has announced the first production in its 2023 -  2024 Season of Pride at its home in Edgewater, Redtwist Theatre, 1044 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. The 19th season begins with a gay reimagining of Little Red Riding Hood, Wolves, by Steve Yockey and directed by Artistic Director Dusty Brown, October 1 - November 5.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Catercita Roja) is Storybook Theatre's award-winning musical retelling of the famous fairy tale. There is a Granny at the Pianny, a funny wolf, and an adorable Little Riding Hood. There are opportunities for audience participation as Little Red Riding Hood goes through the woods to Granny's house. Fun for the whole family.

For thirty-seven years, Theatre West has presented Storybook Theatre in presentations specially designed for young audiences. There is something in this production of The Adventure of Little Red Riding Hood for everyone. The Campbell family has excellent comedic timing. The dialogue and song lyrics are hilarious, with jokes for all ages.

Puppetworks has announced the Re-Opening of its Park Slope, Brooklyn theatre with a Hand Puppet adaptation of the classic folk tale, 'Little Red Riding Hood.' Adapted by Michael Thomas, with Puppets by Nicolas Coppola, the production is set in Cajun country (Louisiana) and features a Cajun musical score.

Through the song, Fairy Tale Lament, we learn that she has grown tired of her story. She dreads knowing that every time someone opens up her book, she will be forced to relive the same old familiar tale. With the help of Toby, a lovable, comical magic dragon, Little Red sets off for new adventures. Along the way she meets, and sometimes becomes, other fairy tale characters like princes and witches and frogs. She manages to find excitement and sometimes danger. Ultimately Little Red's magical journey brings her to the realization that anything is possible and that imagination is the true beginning of everything.

Household objects are set to spring to life on stage at the Belgrade Theatre this Easter as a radical reimagining of the story of Red Riding Hood and the Wolf arrives in Coventry. Presented by Islington's internationally acclaimed puppet theatre company Little Angel Theatre, this innovative family show will put a fresh spin on the familiar in more ways than one, subverting traditional fairytale tropes while turning everyday items into the ingredients for a fantastic adventure.

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) are pleased to present Joel Pommerat's Little Red Riding Hood, a rare stateside performance of his most celebrated work, to open the third annual Tilt Kids Festival.
