Funny Girl is a semi-biographical comedy based on the life of Fanny Brice, a powerhouse comedian and Ziegfeld Follies star known for her belting voice and comedic timing. The musical follows Fanny's rise from humble beginnings on the Lower East Side to national fame, exploring her tumultuous relationship with gambler Nicky Arnstein along the way. New York City Ballet's 2018 Spring Season opens on Tuesday, April 24 and will continue for six weeks through June 3.
