Whit Leyenberger Stumbles His Way To 1,000 Performances In DRUNK SHAKESPEARE

New York City actor Whit Leyenberger is celebrating his 1,000th performance in the Off-Broadway smash hit, Drunk Shakespeare. The self-proclaimed "drinking club with a Shakespeare problem," Drunk Shakespeare is an irreverent and outrageous interactive theatrical experience now in its fourth year at The Lounge at Roy Arias Stages (777th 8th Avenue). Leyenberger, an original cast member, has performed in the modern mash-up of Shakespeare, comedy, and improvisation 1,000 times as of today, Wednesday, July 18, 2018. The only cast member to have played every character in the show, Leyenberger has consumed 1,484 drinks, or roughly 17.5 gallons of Tequila during his tenure.

'Grease' e senza dubbio uno degli spettacoli piu amati dagli italiani. Ogni anno, o giu di li, salta fuori una grossa produzione di questo musical e almeno un centinaio di produzioni piccole. E ogni volta la gente e estasiata all'idea di risentire per la millesima volta 'Summer nights' o 'You're the one that I want'.
Sara che come spettacolo non mi e mai piaciuto, e se qualche volta riesco a sopportare il film e solo grazie a uno straordinario John Travolta (o di un formidabile Flavio Bucci?), ma non ho mai capito le ragioni di questo amore viscerale.

Producer Scott Griffin is proud to announce that due to popular demand, Drunk Shakespeare will transfer Off-Broadway. Drunk Shakespeare - the irreverent and outrageous new interactive theatrical experience directed by David Hudson - will move to a brand new venue on November 1 at The Lounge at Roy Arias Stages (300 West 43rd Street at 8th Avenue), after recently ending its run at Quinn's Bar.
