The National Theatre of Great Britain's critically acclaimed production of DEMOCRACY, a new play by Michael Frayn, directed by Michael Blakemore, will play its final performance on Sunday, April 17th at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).

The Michael Frayn political drama will close within the next few weeks

DEMOCRACY, the acclaimed play by Michael Frayn, will be featured on tonight's episode of '20/20'. The program will include a story about the use of cell phones, and features an interview with DEMOCRACY star Richard Thomas, and a look at the production's 'cell phone symphony,' designed to curb the ringing of cell phones during the performance. '20/20' airs locally on WABC-TV, Channel 7 at 10:00 PM (ET). Check local listings.

DEMOCRACY director Michael Blakemore will be interviewed tonight, Thursday, February 17, on 'New York Close-Up'. The program airs from 9:00-9:30 PM on New York 1.

DEMOCRACY, the award-winning play by Michael Frayn, opens November 18th at 6:30 PM on Broadway. The production is currently in previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).
