JB Priestley's chilling play is set ahead of the First World War when a mysterious inspector visits a family home. Daldry's production opened in 1992 and won 19 awards including four Tony Awards and three Olivier Awards. It originally ran at the National Theatre and then transferred to the West End and toured the UK.
Daldry said: "Each time we have mounted this production it seems more relevant than the last with the refugee crisis, the European referendum debate and American elections, you can't fail to see the genius of Priestley's writing."
