pluck. productions today announces the cast for world premiere of Birthday Suit, a new comedy by David K. Barnes. Opening on 13 January at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Alice Malin directs Liam Bewley (Richard), Philip Honeywell (Nick), EJ Martin (Diane) and Emily Stride (Valerie).

Kenny Wax Family Entertainment is delighted to announce the West End debut of new family musical - Mr Popper's Penguins, which will open at the Criterion Theatre for a magical Christmas season from the 15 December to 31 December. Mr & Mrs Popper and their remarkable family of performing penguin puppets come to London direct from a UK tour and US premiere at New York's renowned New Victory Theatre.

Hackney Empire today announced the full cast of its brand new pantomime for 2016, Sleeping Beauty. The West End's leading lady Alexia Khadime (Wicked, The Book of Mormon, The Lion King) will be returning to the site of her stage debut to star as Princess Tahlia (Sleeping Beauty). She will be joined by Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke who returns to Hackney Empire after her appearance in Mother Goose in 2014. They are joined by Gavin Spokes who makes his dameing debut, he joins the Hackney Empire family straight from his Olivier Award-nominated performance as Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls in the West End.

Kenny Wax Family Entertainment today announced Mr Popper's Penguins will be visiting 6 venues in the UK from the 27 September to 11 December prior to a West End Christmas season. The Penguins will also be sailing across the Atlantic for their US premiere at New York's renowned New Victory Theatre this autumn.

The 2016 national tour of William Nicholson's SHADOWLANDS, directed by Alastair Whatley, is coming to New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth on Thursday 16th - Saturday 18th June 2016.

The Birmingham Repertory Theatre is transported back to Oxford in the 1950s for Birdsong Productions' new adaptation of Shadowlands. Written by William Nicholson, Shadowlands is based on the unlikely romance between C.S. Lewis and Joy Gresham, and follows their first meeting, developing relationship and the untimely end of their marriage.
