Like theater companies the world over, The Marsh is also having to invent new ways of engaging with audiences while in-person performances are suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Their creative solution is called MarshStream, which offers a mind-boggling variety of programming seven days a week, including game nights, live performance readings, performance development classes, and archived performance streams. Sydney Chamber Opera and Carriageworks Present World Premiere Online Of BREAKING GLASS

Carriageworks and Sydney Chamber Opera (SCO) today announced the online world premiere of Breaking Glass, four new operatic works created by Australian female composers: Peggy Polias, Josephine Macken, Georgia Scott and Bree van Reyk. Following the temporary closure of Carriageworks during the COVID-19 crisis, these new one-act operas will be presented for the first time as a Facebook Premiere Event to be broadcast free to the public on the Carriageworks Facebook page on Saturday 25 April at 730pm.

Chiswick Playhouse Names Patrons and New Producers

Wayne Glover-Stuart has been named as the new producer at Chiswick Playhouse. Having trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he has since worked as a Creative Producer at the BBC, General Manager at Tramshed and the Artistic Lead at Shaw Theatre. He joins Chiswick Playhouse after its relaunch in late 2019 with the aim of fulfilling the big ambitions of this small space.
