Hannah Farley-Hills for HFH Productions’ multi-award-winning production of Bacon by Sophie Swithinbank has opened to sell-out performances at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The production runs at Summerhall’s Cairns Lecture Theatre until 27 August ahead of transferring to Bristol Old Vic from 12-16 September. Check out production photos here!

The Greenhouse Theater Center, in association with The Marsh, presents the Chicago premiere of the off-Broadway hit THE MUSHROOM CURE, the true story of one man's attempt to treat his severe OCD with psychedelics.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of Bobbie Clearly by Alex Lubischer, directed by Will Davis. This is the second play in Roundabout Underground's expanded two-play season, following Too Heavy for Your Pocket by Jireh Breon Holder this fall. The Tony Award-winning cast of Kinky Boots spent their Valentine's Day with Flynn the Bichon Frise -- aka the winner of the 2018 Westminster Dog Show! Flynn is the adorable Bichon Frise who was named 'Best in Show' yesterday at the 2018 Westminster 'Best in Show'. Last night, he continued his NYC tour, making his Broadway debut with a walk-on role in Broadway's hottest show!

Ken Ludwig is a two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright whose work is performed throughout the world in more than thirty countries and over twenty languages. He has written twenty-five plays and musicals, with six Broadway productions and seven in London's West End. I learned about his incredible way with comedic farce when I saw his first Broadway play, Lend Me A Tenor, which won two Tony Awards and was called 'one of the classic comedies of the 20th century" by The Washington Post. So when I heard the Morgan-Wixson Theatre in Santa Monica was presenting Ludwig's MOON OVER BUFFALO, one of his other comedic farces I had never seen before, I knew I was in for a treat watching all the missed communications, mistaken identities, secrets, and lies collide hilariously backstage. And I was not disappointed.

The Marsh welcomes a new solo show to the Berkeley stage, What They Said About Love by Steve Budd, which was awarded the Best of Fringe at the 2016 San Francisco Fringe Festival. In this absorbing solo show, Steve wonders why other people can and why he can't tie the knot. Budd sheds light on how people meet and make it to the altar, the push and pull of relationships, singles who can't seem to settle down, and more. The Oakland based actor captures the physical and vocal nuances of more than a dozen Bay Area characters, using their own words taken from hours of interviews, and weaves in his relentless search for the one. What They Said About Love, directed by Mark Kenward and developed with David Ford, will be presented 8:00pm Fridays and 8:30pmSaturdays February 2-March 3, 2018 (press opening: February 9) at The Marsh Berkeley, 2120 Allston Way, Berkeley.
