Off-Center, the most unconventional line of programming at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is proud to announce the selections for Bite-Size, an evening of original, short plays and performance pieces by Colorado artists, presented at BookBar and directed by Meridith C. Grundei.

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents White Rabbit Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre Studio Theatre. White Rabbit Red Rabbit begins on May 30 and runs through July 1. From the composer of The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, Andrew Lloyd Webber's intimate one person musical, Tell Me on a Sunday, follows the heartfelt and comedic journey of a character known only as 'Girl.' Fresh from her native England, this sweet, ambitious, gullible heroine attempts to navigate life and romance in the beautiful, sometimes blistering, streets of New York City. Along the way she will learn how to love the most important person in her life, herself.

The Citadel Theatre's Artistic Director, Daryl Cloran, and Executive Director, Chantell Ghosh, announced today the Beyond The Stage (BTS) Series line-up for the 2018/19 Season. This year's series will include six outstanding presentations that push the boundaries of traditional theatre through experimentation; from shows that tell stories in song to a production in which the actor is handed the script for the first time when he or she steps on the stage. BTS even includes a project that takes place everywhere in the Citadel except the theatres. WHITE RABBIT, RED RABBIT has been called a play. This experiment in audience participation is an experience that has become a global sensation that no one is allowed to talk about. The award-winning playwright, Nassim Soleimanpour, is Iranian. While he himself has been censored in his homeland, this work has escaped his country and thus has escaped censorship and is always presented without a set or director. Each actor (it is a different actor each night, and each actor can only perform it once) opens and performs the script, following Soleimanpour's instructions, before the audience that evening. They experience it right along with the audience for the first time. WHITE RABBIT, RED RABBIT is a unique experience that is different each night and is unlike anything you've experienced before

Magellanica is a five-part epic play written by Oregon playwright E.M. Lewis. This production is made possible through major funding from the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) Creative Heights Initiative and the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Magellanica is a part of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New Works.

Casting has been announced for Rhinoceros, the first play in the Politics of the Absurd reading series presented by Christopher Maring/ CM Stage Productions. Joining the reading will be Blake DeLong (Illyria; Othello; Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Larry Owens (Gigantic, FAT CAMP, Grease at the MUNY), Colby Minife (Six Degrees of Separation, Long Day's Journey Into Night, Jessica Jones ) Daniel K. Isaac ( Billions , Search Party , Underland), Brian D. Coats (Jitney, Boardwalk Empire , The Merry Wives of Windsor), Deirdre Madigan (Sweat, Daredevil , Exit Strategy), and Natalie Walker (Puffs, Search Party , Clockwork). Rhinoceros, written by Eugene Ionesco and directed by Srda Vesiljevic (Dust Can't Kill Me, When I Started Dating Men), will take place at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on February 5, 6, and 7.

It's not often you have the chance to preview a show that's shrouded in such mystery, that even the cast doesn't know the full story. But that's exactly what happened in the case of WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT. This solo play written by Nassim Soleimanpour, follows a simple, yet possibly terrifying formula. A different actor is scheduled to perform each evening. That actor is finally given the script the moment the curtain rises. They have no idea of the plot or the story until they're standing in front of an audience. Fittingly, most of the audience isn't sure what the show is about either.
