On Friday, The Today Show visited The Wiz on Broadway for a special behind-the-scenes look at the revival of the classic musical. In the interview, Wayne Brady, who plays The Wiz, talked about the formative experience of watching the 1978 film with Michael Jackson and Diana Ross. Ninth annual Broadway for Self Help Africa concert was held on Monday, April 15 at 7 PM at The Cutting Room in NYC. The successful event brought together a slew of Broadway's brightest stars raising their voices, raising the roof, and raising vital funds for Self Help Africa!

I remember seeing a remarkable, ten-year-old Michael Jackson with his brothers on Sunday’s Ed Sullivan Show in the late 1960s.  He was a heck of a performer even then.   It seems remarkable that the man that little boy became passed away more than fifteen years ago. More unbelievably, Michael would be eligible this year for Social Security and Medicare.
