Kids Week is running throughout the summer holidays with tickets available for selected performances from now until Friday 6 September.

The cracker team, under the leadership of director Julian Louis (Standing Room Only, Wilde Tales), use physical theatre, puppetry and music to bring the bestselling book to the stage in an adaptation which has wowed audiences across the world, including touring the USA, Singapore, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Ahead of their Treehouse World Tour Part 1, SOFI TUKKER shares a new single 'Baby I'm A Queen'. Steeped in raucous guitars and anthemic lyricism, the track is a full-blown hands in the air tune that's ready to jump start your weekend. The song was written about embracing tumultuousness and vulnerability. 'Just because you are vulnerable, doesn't mean you have to let yourself be belittled or infantilized (why is 'baby' the default nickname?)' the band says of the song. 'We are strong and empowered because we cry, because we desire, and because of what is chaotic about us. This song is about standing up as strong and powerful, because of that courage to share ourselves. It's about being both a baby and a queen at the same time.'

With yet another 13 levels, it's now got a Scribbletorium, a high-security potato chip storage facility (guarded by one very angry duck!) and even an open-air movie theatre.

English comedian, actor and author David Walliams' award-winning book Mr Stink will be brought to life on Arts Centre Melbourne's Playhouse stage from 1 - 9 April 2017 as part of a national tour. The charming original Australian adaptation is suitable for children aged 6-12 years and their adults.

In a unique musical collaboration, Arts Centre Melbourne has teamed up with Opera Australia to present El Kid: a modern reimagining of the Three Billy Goats Gruff powered by the glorious melodies of Bizet's opera Carmen. The family opera will be performed from 22 - 27 November at Arts Centre Melbourne's Fairfax Studio.
