It's 1975 and two young survivors (who may or may not be the playwright's parents) meet in a Vietnamese refugee camp in Arkansas shortly after the fall of Saigon. Will this strange new land of burritos, hippies and bikers allow them to fall in love? Qui Nguyen (y'all remember him from RAYA and THE LAST DRAGON, right?) irreverently flips stereotypes on their head, remixes history and culture and cooks up a sexy, funny and energetic romp that's the genesis of his own origin story.
