Pieces of Her, a one-person show about struggling to find your way as a child actress and adult artist, is going up at The Pocket Theater on April 19, 2019 at 8:30PM. The 60-minute, semi-autobiographical play is written and performed by actress, singer, songwriter Sara Carbone. In the play Sara brings to life over a dozen characters through speaking, singing, dancing and clowning, almost entirely without instruments.

"The play captures the experience of growing up as a child actress and into adulthood as an artist and how that journey can be one of incredible joy and magic as well as disillusionment and self-doubt. The piece explores what artists sometimes go through around their art and their sense of themselves, particularly around creating original work," Said Carbone.
The play will also run for three performances at the Seattle theater 18th and Union during June 20-23, 2019. Exact times and dates TBD.
The Pocket is an intimate 50-seat performance space featuring unique and ever- changing shows, plus drama classes.
