From "Steel Pier", "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and "Wicked" to "Four Christmases", "Glee", "Pushing Daisies" and her new hit series "GCB" (just to name a few) Kristin Chenoweth has proven herself to be a superstar.  And now that super stardom is solidified in stone as she embarks on her nationwide concert tour that rocked Seattle's Paramount Theater with its premiere.

With brilliant direction from Richard Jay-Alexander and outstanding music direction from Mary-Mitchell Campbell (hot off her gig with the revival of the musical version of "Carrie") and her 11 piece orchestra, the show is a fun and frothy evening of the familiar and not so familiar.  Yes, of course there was some "Wicked" in there, not to mention some of her amazing turns from "Promises Promises" and her appearances on "Glee".  And yes, some of those incredible tunes from her previous albums as well as her new album, "Some Lessons Learned".  But beyond that she included some wonderful surprises with some of her personal favorites and even a killer disco number.

In addition to her fabulous supporting cast of Tyler Hanes, Chelsea Packard and Will Taylor, you can expect to see a few surprise visitors during the concert.  But beyond all the glitz and glamour and just plain magnificent show, Kristin shines on stage.  And she knows how to work her audience and put on one hell of a show.  She's an incredibly giving performer that just makes her fans want to give back as was evident in the first of several standing ovations she received as she initially stepped out on stage.  And as much astonishing talent is packed into that tiny frame, so are equal amounts of sweetness and generosity making her an absolute gift from God for anyone fortunate enough to see her.

If you happen to live in one of the cities lucky enough to be getting a stop on her tour, be sure not to miss this one.  It's an evening you won't soon forget.
