It’s Midsummer. In Edinburgh. It’s raining.
Bob and Helena may have only just met but they’re about to embark on a lustful lost weekend of bridge-burning, boozing, car chasing and sex! And guess what? You’re invited to come along with them for the ride!
Building on David Greig and Gordon McIntyre’s 2008 smash hit, the National Theatre of Scotland explodes the potential of the original text placing the audience at the very heart of the action. With a heightened musicality and a joyful sense of occasion, Midsummer takes up residency in The Hub for the 2018 Edinburgh International Festival, taking the audience on an unforgettable nightly rom-com rollercoaster.
