Direct from a sell-out run and huge public and critical acclaim at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, US actor/comedian Miles Allen will debut his solo show ONE MAN BREAKING BAD at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer.
In just sixty minutes, Allen takes his audience on a rip roaring comedy ride through all sixty episodes of the phenomenally popular TV series BREAKING BAD, smacking the senses with his crazily accurate renditions of all the iconic characters, including Walter White, Jesse, Saul, Skyler, Hank, Walt Junior, Mike and Gus Fring. Essentially a love letter for everyone who loved, laughed, sweated and cried while following the syndication of one of the greatest television shows ever made, it has also been quality tested to the tune of more than one million YouTube views.

THE FAMOUS SPIEGELTENT: For the first time ever the beautiful and historic St Andrew Square Garden will be part of the festival. Local promoter Salt 'n Sauce Promotions - who operate The Assembly Rooms Fringe and The Stand - have teamed up with Essential Edinburgh to transform the stunning Georgian square into a vibrant new fringe super hub. The Garden will be the new home of legendary fringe venue The Famous Spiegeltent, plus the debut of The Stand in The Square, located in a 150 seater Mongolian yurt, with a free world and acoustic music stage completing the line up.
Assembly Rooms Fringe Director, Tommy Sheppard commented: "Over the last two years we have redefined the geography of the world's largest arts festival by bringing it back to the centre of town. Now that process accelerates with a new open air venue in St Andrew Square just moments away from the Assembly Rooms."
Visitors to St Andrew Square Garden will enjoy world-class entertainment, an attractive terrace and bar serving a wide range of refreshments, an Aperol Spritz terrace and six food outlets, showcasing the very best of Edinburgh's food and Scottish produce. It will be the largest festival hub in the city centre - one hundred thousand tickets go on sale today (19th May) - and is expected to attract over a quarter million people over three weeks.
David Bates owner and programmer of The Famous Spiegeltent said: "We are thrilled to be trail-blazing in Edinburgh once again. St Andrew Square will be our 6th site in 18 years and we look forward to turning it into the beating heart of the Fringe; a garden full of magic and excitement befitting the greatest of all festivals."
THE STAND: "We've 48 shows every day of the festival making us the biggest independent comedy producer on the fringe. This our 19th year and we've got our biggest and most varied line-up ever. But there's a few changes. Stand Two is having a year off for the referendum campaign but we've got a superb new venue over the road called Stand Five. And the really exciting news is that we'removing into St Andrew Square Garden. Stand in the Square is based in a 150 seater Mongolian yurt and has a pretty stunning line-up of comedy and spoken word. We're also working again with our sister venues at The Assembly Rooms and you'll find mention of those shows here too.We aim to cut the hype, keep prices low and keep down costs to performers by directly producing shows. That means we can keep tickets at a reasonable price and still give comedians a better deal. Our package shows like The Best of Irish Comedy, the Late Show, Alternative Comedy Memorial Society and Set-List offer exceptional value. There are dozens of makeshift comedy venues on the fringe - but there's only one that's here all year. Come and find out why The Stand is the comedian's favourite comedy club." - Tommy Sheppard, Director
