To The Left PR presents Jack Barry in "Jack Barry: You Don't Know Jack" at Just The Tonic Mash House: Bottle Room, Hastie's Close, 37 Guthrie St, Edinburgh EH1 1JQ. Running time: 18:40 (1 Hour Show) 4th-28th (Not 15th) August 2016. Ticket Cost: £5 or PWYW.

This year, Jack Barry made the leap and gave up his job to become a full time stand-up, in a market oversaturated with white male comedians. Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, Jack Barry can at least speak Mandarin, which is unfortunately a redundant skill set in comedy but he tries to make it work. Jack is trying to figure out his place in the world and what he can do to escape a quarter-life crisis and what sort of car that means he should buy. Jack's second full hour is directed by Fosters nominated Nick Helm.

One half of the sketch duo Twins, (Annie McGrath), Jack began his comedy career in 2010 with The Leeds Tealights university sketch group; the first year Leeds was ever named the best student sketch group at the fringe. As a solo act, he has been part of the emergent talent platforms the Comedy Reserve and Comedy Zones in 2013 and 2014 respectively. He has also gone to be a regular support act for the Fosters nominated James Acaster, as well as TV familiar favourites Patrick Kielty and Joe Lycett.

Jack has been making his own TV appearances of late, recently appearing onITV2's @elevenish as part of Twins and was part of the 'Legends' football match featuring ex-footballers, celebrities, comedians on Channel 5. He is also set to appear in the highly anticipated online second series of James Acaster's Sweet Home Ketteringa, produced by Turtle Canyon.
