Tell us a bit about The Korean Tale Of Princess Bari.

The traditional Korean tale of Princess Bari comes to life in this touching and inspiring production. Princess Bari is a mortal whose destiny is to save the world. Fighting her own fear, she chooses to sacrifice herself to save others, even journeying to the other world to give her name, knowing it means her certain death. Bari's noble sacrifice demonstrates bravery, valour, and a pure heart that will touch everyone who follows her journey. An inspiring and uplifting tale from Korean folklore is brought to life through stunning physical theatre.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

We challenged the Edinburgh Fringe Festival because we wanted to show our talents to many people around the world. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is one of the biggest performing festivals in the world.

This stage allows the creators to perform various experiments.

We want to try to experiment with our performances in this festival.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

Our show is a family show based on traditional Korean folk stories. I think we can lower the walls of Korean culture because we are dealing with the performances from the children's perspective.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

I hope many children come to see our shows. We participated in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in South Korea. The Global Culture Future Project is aimed at developing cultural exchange with children who is all of the world.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

There was a Korean season at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I wonder what other Korean teams will show. Our team member came to Edinburgh last year, and was really impressed by "I am rhythm". I'd love to see the show like that , if we have a chance.

Timings and ticket information for The Korean Tale of Princess Bari are available on the edfringe website.
