Tell us a bit about The Coolest Kid In Competitive Chess.

It's a character I had to come up with after putting 'The Coolest Kid In Competitive Chess' as a place holder title for the Melbourne Comedy Festival. I was a month late with my new title as the programs were already printed. So the coolest kid was born via default!

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

I've had two very fortunate Edinburgh experiences so far and I'm hoping this will continue with 'Coolest Kid' and John Kearns is returning and he owes me five quid.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

My name and my solo sketch/audience participation. Everything is done with love and joy. The audience are the stars of my show and I hate them/love them for it.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Graham and Susan.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Yes. Jess Fostakew, Tessa Coates and Joseph Morpurgo.

See Steen Raskopoulos: The Coolest Kid in Competitive Chess at the Underbelly throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 3rd - 27th August For tickets visit www.edfringe.com
