Sandra Hale: Self Helpless! Is a show filled with insights on how to get through life providing you have good looks, no opinions and can tap dance. We can't all be selfless, moralistic and honest. So if like me you are shallow, insecure and needy, then this show is for you!

Why bring it to Edinburgh?
I'm bringing my debut show to Edinburgh (the greatest fringe festival in the world)because if not now, then when? In July I shall be 65. I started comedy 3.5 years ago. I haven't got unlimited time in which to "perfect my craft" and then do a show.
It's now or never! Besides, what else would I do in the summer? I'm going through my second divorce, still living in the marital home and coming to Edinburgh to escape having to see HIM every bloody day!
What sets my show apart?
Hmm! Well how many other shows features women of my age who are willing to do practically anything to be liked and have approval. I mean I tap dance in my show for goodness sake just for a burst of applause. (I love applause)
Who would you recommend comes to see you?
I would recommend anyone between the ages of 16 and 75 to see my show. The young ones will identify with my need for approval and acceptance in today's society. The older ones will identify with my need for approval and acceptance in today's society.
AND I've written a book (with 5* reviews on Amazon) to accompany my show which is full of my pearls of wisdom and advice.
Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?
There are so many shows I want to catch at the festival, far too many to mention. Naturally I shall see my friends shows and support them, but only if they come and see me too. Fairs fair.
