Tell us a bit about your show.

There's one core message: don't ever be a princess - be queen of your own f*cking world. The show is an audience-empowering ride through the ups and downs of sexual politics and power. It sees the world through the eyes of a fiery exotic dancer who reveals the story of her work, life and lovers - and why she has the words "Queen of the F*cking World" emblazoned on her dressing room door.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

One of the things I most love about Ed Fringe is the huge variety of work. The Singing Psychic show I brought last year was award nominated but I fell in love with the more serious shows as well such as Joan Of Arc. I have long wished to return to my traditional acting routes and make a piece of work about women, LGBT and sexual politics and judgements.

So my queen OTFW show feels right for Ed fringe - the mix of theatre and controversial work I feel will suit the philosophy of making unusual interesting work. I think the audiences will appreciate the weird mix of solo theatre, cabaret, live music and audience interaction.

I have even picked my bass guitar again to accompany myself and will be having great fun with that.

I will be doing two shows a day this year, the Singing Psychic Game Show and Queen but I feel Edinburgh will give me the opportunity to play with audiences, engage in dialogue and have fun. From Chekhov to my Singing Psychic readings it's gonna be a wild ride!

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

As part of the show I have talked to the English Collective of Prostitutes, NHS clinicians treating Scottish sex workers and many others. This is a real, close up look at life on the frontline of today's sex, gender and identity struggles. It touches on issues that are close to the hearts of so many women and men and which resonate strongly for anyone in the LGBT community.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Those interested in the dialogue about equality: especially in gender and sexual preference, those who love cabaret and interactive theatre. I am singing original songs and playing my bass guitar, so there is live music in there too.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Henry Naylor's plays, he had a show just before mine in Prague 2016 and all his work is brilliant. He normally sells out super quick so!
