Tell us a bit about Maid of Cabbage.

It's a sort of bonkers storytelling clown show about a maid looking for the perfect cabbage in the olden days. She has a 'bad side' that she tries to keep under control but sometimes it lashes out

Why make it into a show?

I found an old picture of a maid holding a cabbage in a magazine and underneath it said 'traditionally unmarried maids were sent into the veg garden to find the perfect cabbage'. I couldn't resist making it into a show it was too weird and brilliant.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

Well it will be hard to stand out amongst all the other cabbage based shows but will all of them have a mystic egg? That might be the thing to set it apart from the others

This is your first solo performance at the Fringe, do you think you know what to expect?

No definitely not I hope its ok and that no one throws anything at me that would be depressing. Unless its £50 notes.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Anyone over 16 that likes weird things but also someone that will have the patience to follow a very tenuous narrative.
