Tell us a bit about Honey, I Promised The Kid.
I promised my daughter I'd play live on stage at the O2 Arena but it wasn't as easy as I hoped! This show is all about my quest to play live on that iconic stage.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
I think a dose of this at 4 in the afternoon will go down an absolute treat with the Edinburgh audiences. It's a story that took on a life of its own, encompassing everything from celebrity encounters, live TV appearances and numerous dignity sapping incidents and I think Edinburgh is the perfect place to release it.
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
It's full of surprises and I'm using live music and multimedia this year so visually it's great fun to watch. It's also got a great twist at the end!
Who would you recommend comes to see you?
Anyone who enjoys a good story - it's a PG show and I really think all ages will enjoy it. A lot of people who liked what I did on Britain's Got Talent have said they are coming to see me which is brilliant.
Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?
Mark Simmons 'One Linerer'.
I've shared a flat with Mark the last two times I've been to Edinburgh but this year we will have to break that tradition as my wife and kids are going. So I'll be going to see Mark's show for big laughs but also to make sure he's eating properly.
