Tell us a bit about I Am Bat-El.

I wrote I Am Bat-El about my own journey as a little person. In the show, I share and expose the most vulnerable moments of my life. I spill the beans and answer all the questions people usually don't have the guts to ask. It's a musical experience with hilarious attitude that explains exactly how to live BIG at 120 cm tall. Apparently, it struck a chord in Israel because it is now officially part of the Ministry of Education and tours the country on a continual basis.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

Having performed the show over 300 times to more than a million people in Israel, it's only natural that I push the boundaries and continue to share my insights outside of the confines of this small country. My story is universal and it's time I come out with it to the rest of the world. What better way to start my journey than at the biggest Fringe festival in the world?

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

I am sure that many other performances at the show are extraordinary and I can't wait to see them come August. But I can only speak about my own show now since it's the only one I've seen. "I am Bat-El" is not only entertaining - it's 55 minutes of pure artistic celebration - it's musical and dance choreography infused with the personal touch stirs the hearts of those that hear my story. I've been told it's an inspiration since I own up to the difficulties I suffered in the past and face my life with a passion to succeed, thrive and more than anything, enjoy life.

It's a story that teaches how to see others from what they can give not by how they look. My viewers will never again spurn, snub or reject another just because they look different.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Really, any person over the age of 12 that wants to start their day with a smile and food for thought.

What do you hope that people will take away from your show?

That they see that it doesn't matter what your starting point is, where you came from, what you look like, what's your color or weight, who your parents are and what their origin is. What your life looks like is entirely in your own hands. And each of us has the power to change the world.
